Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Account Resolution Specialist to support consumer and real estate loan servicing operations. This fully remote role requires candidates to work Pacific Standard Time hours and focuses on administrative support, document management, and account resolution activities.

The ideal candidate has prior collections experience within a credit union environment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
Loan Servicing & Documentation

• Process and manage consumer and real estate loan documentation within the core processing system
• Image and upload loan-related documents (e.g., payroll deduction forms, adverse action notices, collection letters)
• Download and maintain student loan and consolidation documentation
• Prepare and send loan payoff letters

Account Resolution Support

• Assist with account resolution activities including document collection and distribution
• Prepare charge-off files for assignment to collections agencies or legal counsel
• Monitor and track debt counseling proposals and billing invoices
• Report negative share accounts and maintain tracking logs
• Update credit reporting systems as required

Quality Control & Compliance

• Perform post-closing quality control audits on loan files to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Ensure documentation aligns with system records and regulatory requirements
• Process levies and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards

Reporting & Administrative Functions

• Generate and review monthly reports (e.g., loan monitoring, file maintenance, payment tracking)
• Monitor and update returned mail and incorrect address records
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
• Coordinate departmental mail handling and document distribution
• Monitor and order office supplies as needed

Team & Operational Support

• Provide administrative support to the Account Resolution team
• Collaborate with internal departments to obtain and share necessary information
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and member information
• Participate in meetings and complete special projects as assigned

Qualifications
Required:

• Minimum 2 years of collections experience within a credit union
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work PST hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and standard office equipment

Preferred:

• Coursework in typing or general office skills
• Experience working with credit reporting systems and loan servicing platforms
