Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Knowledge of utility safety policies and exceptionally strong commitment to safety · Familiar with NERC/FERC/SERC requirements related to utility industry · Effective oral and written communication skills at multiple levels of the organization · Significant understanding of Substation Work Management System (SWMS), Transmission Automated Outage Request System(TAORS), Paperless Condition Report system( PCRs) or similar software programs · Strong background in protective relaying and substation power equipment · Available and on-call 24 hours/day to respond to system emergencies, which often require immediate decisions and actions · Strong working knowledge of basic computer programs.
