This role can accommodate either a full-time or part-time schedule. The organization is looking for someone who can step in quickly, help stabilize day-to-day processes and assist with a cleanup of bank reconciliations, and serve as a reliable accounting resource for the team.

Job Duties of the Accountant:

• 
  
• Process approximately 200 monthly customer invoices using an industry-specific accounting platform
• 
  
• Perform weekly billing and maintain accurate customer account records
• 
  
• Complete high-volume bank reconciliations and manage cash movement between accounts
• 
  
• Assist with payroll processing and serve as backup when needed
• 
  
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• 
  
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• 
  
• Generate reports and provide accounting data to leadership
• 
  
• Research and resolve accounts receivable and accounts payable discrepancies as needed
• 
  
• Respond professionally to client inquiries regarding invoices and account activity
• 
  

What We're Looking For:

• 
  
• Experience in a hands-on accounting role such as Bookkeeper, Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or similar
• 
  
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting processes
  
  • 
    
  • Experience with bank reconciliations, billing, and month-end close
  • 
    
  • Payroll experience or willingness to support payroll functions as needed
  • 
    
  
  
• 
  
• Strong Excel skills and overall technical aptitude
• 
  
• Excellent communication skills

• Highly organized, deadline-driven, self motivated, and able to work independently
