What You'll Do:

Build trusted relationships with family farm clients

Maintain accurate financial records and analyze general ledger accounts

Complete bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations

Prepare balance sheets, income statements, profitability reports, and other financial reports

Turn financial data into practical insights that help producers make confident business decisions

Participate in farm meetings and help explain financial trends and results

Prepare organized year-end information for tax preparers

Support onboarding of new FarmBooks clients

Collaborate with the FarmBooks team on projects and process improvements

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Two or more years of accounting experience preferred; agriculture, client accounting, or small-business experience is a plus

Working knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation required

Familiarity with tax-basis accounting is preferred

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate financial information in a clear, practical way

Passion for agriculture, rural communities, and helping family farms succeed
