Accountant - Comm. Real Estate

A real estate investment firm located near Culver City is looking for a Property Accountant on a long-term contract, potential contract-to-hire basis. The Property Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions for the portfolio of properties. Tasks for the Accountant includes CAM, account, and bank reconciliation, assisting with month/quarter/year-end closes and preparing financial statements. The Property Accountant will also handle A/P, A/R, journal entry preparation, general ledger management, and other ad hoc duties.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry.
• Seeking a problem solver with an upbeat, positive attitude.
• Knowledge of MRI, Yardi, Timberline, or NetSuite is required.
• Strong MS Office skills are also needed.
• Good communication and analytical skills are also required.
• Pay, $38 - 42/hr.
