Learn more at foth.com/careers.Foth is hiring an Accountant to play a critical role in our accounting operations, with a significant focus on administering and supporting our employee ownership program. This role blends hands‑on accounting execution with ownership process administration, cross‑functional coordination, technical aptitude, and strong attention to detail.Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare standard monthly and annual journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliationsOwn assigned accounting areas such as accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and leasesParticipate in period‑end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met with minimal reworkPrepare schedules and documentation to support internal and external audits, surveys, and compliance requirementsUtilize ERP systems to research, analyze, and validate accounting dataIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and documentationServe as a primary administrator of Foth's employee ownership program, supporting equity‑related processes from execution through reconciliationManage ownership‑related transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of recordsMaintain and administer the ownership system (e.g., Shareworks or similar equity administration platform), including data integrity and required updatesPrepare and reconcile ownership‑related journal entries and schedules as part of monthly, quarterly, and annual closeSupport ownership‑related financial reporting, audit requests, valuations, and compliance requirementsCoordinate ownership activities with HR, Payroll, Legal, and Accounting to ensure timely and accurate execution of ownership eventsRespond to ownership‑related inquiries from internal stakeholders with professionalism, clarity, and discretionManage multiple priorities independently, applying sound judgment and attention to detailCommunicate proactively with accounting teammates and cross‑functional stakeholdersShare knowledge and support continuity within the accounting teamRequired QualificationsAssociate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including responsibility for journal entries, reconciliations, and period‑end closeHands‑on general accounting experience (GL, reconciliations, journal entries)Experience working in an ERP system in a corporate accounting environmentAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reconciliations, schedules, and data validationPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldExperience supporting audits and preparing accounting schedules or documentationDirect experience administering equity, ownership, or stock‑based programsExperience with Deltek VantagePoint (Foth's ERP System)All Foth Companies are equal opportunity employers, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
