About the Role:
We’re looking for a dependable, organized, and accurate Accountant I to join our team. In this role, you will demonstrate your expertise in a variety of accounting practices, including accounts payable, reconciling the general ledger, and conducting audits.  If you enjoy staying organized and being part of a supportive environment, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Be Doing:
Clerical Tasks:
  • Filing, copying and scanning documents
  • Keeping files and records up to date
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, and forms
  • Verifying and processing documents
  • Performing data entry with accuracy
  • Greet customers
Accountant I Duties:
  • Interact with customers on the phone and by email
  • Process accounts payable invoices for approval and payment
  • Generate billing statements and reports
  • Process monthly perm storage invoices and billing
  • Review and reconcile the general ledger accounts
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations and renewals
  • Weekly bank deposits and daily credit card payments processed
  • Cash entries verified and entered into Movers Suite and Great Plains
  • Tracking and filing of all fleet vehicle registration renewals
  • Process all claims and coordinate communications with customers
  • Daily cash report updated and reconciled
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist in keeping the office clean, organized, and well-functioning
  • Pitching in with other team members or departments as needed
  • Helping with miscellaneous projects or tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
  • 2 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Strong work ethics and attendance
  • Friendly, helpful, and professional communication style
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • A team player who’s always willing to help out
