This position is not a remote position.Duties and Responsibilities3+ years of general accounting requiredFull-cycle accounting experience requiredVerify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivableProduce error-free accounting reports and present their resultsPrepare and analyze financial information and summarize financial statusSpot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spendingReview and recommend modifications to accounting systems and proceduresParticipate in financial standards setting and in forecast processPrepare financial statements and produce budget according to scheduleAssist with tax audits and tax returnsSupport internal and external audits to ensure complianceSupport month-end and year-end close processesQualificationsThorough knowledge of basic accounting proceduresIn-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Familiarity with financial accounting statementsExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processAdvanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and pivot tablesLoan Vision experience preferred.Accuracy and diligenceAptitude for numbers and quantitative skillsExperience: 2+ plus years in real estate or mortgage industry preferredEducationBS or BA degree in Accounting, Finance or relevantCompensationHourlyPaid time off/401k plan/Company Events/Great Team Culture!#J-18808-Ljbffr
