Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to support accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role will manage complex accounting matters, participate in the accounting close process, maintain intercompany relationships, and partner with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and internal control requirements.
- Manage and maintain intercompany accounting relationships and activities.
- Participate in the accounting close process, including preparing and submitting journal entries.
- Perform account reconciliations and support financial reporting and disclosures.
- Prepare financial statements for multiple subdivisions.
- Provide documentation and support for external audits.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on accounting projects and day-to-day activities.
- Analyze and resolve complex accounting matters using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Previous accounting experience, including managing complex accounting matters.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong professional skepticism with a curious and analytical mindset.
- Moderate Excel skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate different IT and accounting systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with IFRS.
- CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Proficiency with SAP FICO.
- Experience using BlackLine Journal Voucher and Reconciliation modules.
- Experience supporting EY or other external auditors.
