    Description

    This role is ideal for a detail oriented, organized professional who can independently manage accounting functions within a female office environment. The Accountant will oversee day to day financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support leadership with financial analysis. Experience in real estate or property management is strongly preferred.

    You will handle monthly financials, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and work closely with property managers to ensure accurate financial tracking across multiple assets. The position requires strong technical ability, reliability, and excellent communication skills.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage monthly financials, including journal entries and general ledger work
    • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
    • Oversee AP/AR processes and ensure payments are handled properly
    • Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain organized financial records
    • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
    • Work with property managers to ensure accurate property level reporting
    • Maintain compliance with internal policies and accounting standards


    Qualifications:

    • 3–5 years of accounting experience required
    • Property management / rental industry experience strongly preferred
    • Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
