Position Overview

This role will support the firm's outsourced bookkeeping and accounting services practice. The Accountant will work directly with clients, helping manage day-to-day accounting activities while delivering accurate financial information and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Perform monthly bookkeeping and accounting services for multiple clients
• 
  
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations
• 
  
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• 
  
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• 
  
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• 
  
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• 
  
• Support payroll processing and related reporting
• 
  
• Collaborate with clients to address accounting questions and improve processes
• 
  
• Assist with special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 
  
• Public accounting or bookkeeping experience is a plus
• 
  
• Understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• 
  
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• 
  
• Excellent communication and client service abilities
• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
•
