Administrative Assistant / Accounting Assistant

Salary: $50,000 – $70,000
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Fully in-office

Key Responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant / Accounting Assistant:

• Assist with construction billing, including AIA billing processes
• Manage accounts payable, including 3-way matching with purchase orders
• Follow up with customers regarding payments and collections
• Support contract management and related documentation
• Handle lien waivers and ensure accurate tracking and compliance
• Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed

Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant / Accounting Assistant:

• Prior experience in the construction industry
• Hands-on experience with AIA billing
• Experience managing accounts payable, including 3-way matching
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (plus, not required)
• Experience in a combined accounting and administrative role
