Accounting Assistant to CFO

AppleOne has partnered with a company in San Clemente seeking an Accounting Assistant to CFO for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting and administrative professional who enjoys variety, teamwork, and supporting executive finance leadership in a fast-moving environment.

The company has been established for more than 20 years and is experiencing continued growth following a recent acquisition. This role is ideal for someone who can wear many hats, stay organized, and confidently support accounting, billing, documentation, purchasing, logistics, and general finance operations. You will work closely with the CFO and Controller in a collaborative setting where reliability, a positive attitude, and attention to detail are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Support accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor documentation, and payment-related follow-up.
- Assist the CFO and Controller with administrative, accounting, billing, invoicing, and reporting support.
- Prepare and maintain paperwork related to compliance, customs, international freight, and documentation.
- Create purchase orders, track information in Excel, and help maintain organized spreadsheets and records.
- Communicate with internal teams, customers, vendors, and logistics partners as needed.
- Assist with inventory tracking, documentation flow, and other operational support tasks in a growing manufacturing environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $26.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
