Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience is required in asimilar role.
• High school diploma is required, Associate Degree is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
• Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and inwriting.
• Ability to work independently with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
• Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with an emphasis in Excel as well as Accounting Software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Support

• • Provide day-to-day coverage for A/R, shifting between functions based on workload, deadlines and staff absences.
  • Assist with processing customer payments and customer remittances accurately and on time.
  • Manage Filter Wholesale A/R, including invoicing, cash application, collections follow-up and aging review.
  • Perform customer account reconciliations, research discrepancies, and resolve short-pays, credits and disputes.
  • Setup New Part Accounts

Accounts Payable Support

• • Provide day-to-day coverage for A/P, shifting between functions based on workload, deadlines and staff absences.
  • Verify and process all rebates, confirming eligibility, calculations and supporting documentation before payment or credit.
  • Assist with processing vendor payments and vendor statements accurately and on time.

Month End Close Reporting
Special Projects as Needed
Backup Duties for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
