Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial processes.
- Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
- Tow Driver Commission Programs
- Audit completed tow tickets.
- Verify completed jobs before payroll processing.
- Ensure all commissions are properly documented.
- Review payroll reports for accuracy.
- Investigate payroll discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll reports for management approval.
- Maintain and update QuickBooks records daily.
- Create and manage customer invoices.
- Process vendor bills and payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Reconcile credit card accounts.
- Review general ledger accuracy.
- Maintain chart of accounts.
- Generate monthly financial reports.
- Assist management with budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure QuickBooks records match operational records.
General Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and fuel cards.
- Track revenue streams and assist with monthly financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and account balances.
- Support budgeting and cost tracking (fuel, maintenance, labor).
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements (balance sheet).
QuickBooks Management
- Maintain and update QuickBooks records daily.
- Create and manage customer invoices.
- Process vendor bills and payments.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Maintain chart of accounts.
- Generate monthly financial reports.
- Assist management with budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure QuickBooks records match operational records.
Accounts Receivable Responsibilities
Customer Billing
- Apartment complex billing.
- Police department contracts.
- Municipal contracts.
- Commercial fleet accounts.
- Insurance companies. .
- Cash customers.
Collections
- Monitor aging receivables.
- Follow up weekly on past-due accounts.
- Prepare and Maintain collection records.
- Coordinate payment arrangements.
- Reduce outstanding balances.
Performance Goals
Improve collection percentages.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations is a plus.

His faith is the driving force in his daily personal life as well as the operation of his business. He works daily with his long time wife Ladonna and sons, John Dylan, Justin, Joshua and Jared.
