Leading Company in the Logistics Industry is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their growing team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounting functions and with exposure to the logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding industry.
Schedule
Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM
Looking for : Someone who has worked on the SS Lines service contracts, customer quotes and customer billing
Key Responsibilities
Review customer contracts to ensure completeness and accuracy
Work with sales team, customer success team, and external customers
Prepare and review customer invoices
Update CRM system
Process credit card payments
Apply cash receipts to customer accounts
Assist with processing commissions
Assist in providing audit support for revenue transactions
Research and resolve billing issues
Process customer documents to facilitate payments (w-9, purchase orders, etc.)
Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments
Support various special projects as required
Desired Skills and Qualifications
3-5 years of accounting experience
Proficiency in Excel and other computer programs
Familiarity with QuickBooks OR NetSuite
Detail-orientation, organizational skills and a strong work ethic
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and oral communication
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
