Overview
LHH is partnering with a high-growth, dynamic organization to identify a Senior Manager, Accounting Compliance to join their corporate accounting team. This role offers a unique blend of compliance, audit leadership, and operational accounting, serving as a key right-hand partner to executive leadership.
This is not a traditional compliance-only position-this role operates as an Assistant Controller-type leader, driving critical initiatives across accounting operations, reporting, and system improvements. Key Responsibilities
Own and enhance internal controls and accounting compliance processes
Lead and project manage the annual external audit
Support month-end close, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Partner with leadership as a key contributor across accounting operations
Identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements
Support ERP initiatives, including system implementations and optimization efforts
Collaborate cross-functionally with operational teams, including inventory and field operations
Step in across the accounting function to address gaps and support critical priorities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
~8+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong background in audit, technical accounting, and financial reporting
Experience with month-end close and internal controls frameworks
Exposure to ERP systems and process improvement initiatives
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments
Preferred:
Background in logistics, fulfillment, or inventory-driven industries
Experience in system implementations or automation initiatives
