Accounting Clerk Accounts Payable & Receivable

Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Accounting Clerk for a well-established company in Grapevine, TX. This individual will work closely with the Lead Accountant to support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, check processing, and monthly financial tasks.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working with numbers, and able to manage multiple accounting responsibilities accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Prepare and process check runs and vendor payments.
Assist with daily and monthly accounting activities.
Review invoices, verify accuracy, and maintain financial records.
Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies as needed.
Track outstanding payments and assist with collections.
Maintain organized accounting files and documentation.
Support the Lead Accountant with month-end closing activities and general accounting duties.
Qualifications
Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk, AP/AR Clerk, or similar accounting support role.
Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Experience processing invoices, payments, and check runs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with the accounting team.
Compensation
$20$28 per hour, depending on relevant accounting experience and qualifications.
