Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting / Finance Intern to support our Finance team across key accounting and financial processes.

This internship provides hands-on exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and general accounting operations within a manufacturing environment. The intern will assist with day-to-day financial activities while gaining practical experience working with real business data and processes.

This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while developing a strong understanding of accounting and finance functions in a professional setting.

Internship Details

• Duration: Summer 2026
• Schedule: Approximately 20–25 hours per week
• Location: On-site in Youngstown, OH
• Job Type: Seasonal (Temporary), Part-time
• Tuition Reimbursement: Upon successful completion internship you will be eligible for a $2,500 tuitionreimbursement/educational assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable processes, including invoice review and data entry
• Support accounts receivable activities, including payment tracking and reconciliation
• Assist with organizing and maintaining financial records and documentation
• Support general ledger and financial data review processes
• Help prepare financial reports and summaries for internal use
• Review financial information for accuracy and consistency
• Assist with data organization and cleanup within financial systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to gather and validate financial information
• Support process improvement initiatives related to accounting and reporting workflows

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong interest in accounting and financial operations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work with numerical data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
