This role provides hands-on experience in accounting principles, financial reporting, and business operation. ~20 hours p weekESSESTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in preparing and maintaining financial records, reports, and statementsPerform data entry for invoices, expenses, and transactionsHelp reconcile bank statements and company accountsSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable processesAssist with auditing and reviewing financial documents for accuracyOrganize and file financial documents (physical and digital)Help prepare tax documents and compliance reportsParticipate in month-end and year-end closing processesConduct basic financial analysis and reportingPerform administrative duties as needed by the accounting teamQUALIFICATIONSCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldBasic understanding of accounting principles and financial conceptsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)Strong attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsPrior internship or coursework related to accountingFamiliarity with financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS)Experience with data analysis toolsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.LEARNING OUTCOME AND BENEFITSGain practical experience in real-world accounting processesDevelop technical skills in financial software and reportingEnhance analytical and problem-solving skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
