Pay:$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time, 15–20 hours per week

The McGuire Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Corporate Finance team. What You'll Do
As an Accounting Intern, you'll support the Finance Department with a variety of accounting and financial responsibilities, including:
Compile, prepare, and transmit bank deposits.
Compile and import fixed asset data files while maintaining fixed asset ledgers.
Maintain the cash management file, including daily banking transactions.
Assist with preparing financial reports, accounting records, and account reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Gather documentation and coordinate responses for financial statement audits and New York State OMIG audits.
Assist with ad hoc financial reports, analyses, and special projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Completion of at least two years of college coursework.
Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Creative thinker with a willingness to learn and contribute.
