Accounting Intern

Job Purpose:

The Accounting Intern will assist the Billing Specialist with billing duties and responsibilities. The significant

responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to

at the discretion of management

Duties and Responsibilities

• Help Process Invoices for all divisions after reviewing paperwork received from shipping
• Verify information is correct by checking for data entry or shipping errors
• Help maintain necessary spreadsheets
• Notify Credit Manager of changes/corrections needed to customer accounts
• Assist A/R team with requests as other job duties allow

Preferred Qualifications

• Self-motivated, detail oriented, experience working with Excel and Google docs
• Current undergraduate student studying Accounting or Business

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• Normal office working conditions:
• Requires long periods of sitting and computer usage.
• Repetitive usage of keyboard and mouse
• Occasional lifting of file boxes, typically up to 25 pounds
