Accounting Manager - Residential Real Estate

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, month end close, compliance and accounting operations for a portfolio of properties. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting manager will lead accounting staff, review financial reporting and serve as a key business partner to property management and leadership teams.

Salary - $100-$110k - bonus

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager

Oversee the month end close process for property portfolios
Manage, mentor and develop accounting staff
Analyze budgets versus actual results
Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, operating agreements and management agreements
Develop a strong understanding of invoice workflow and accounting processes within Yardi

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
4+ years of real estate accounting experience required
Current Yardi experience required
Residential real estate accounting experience required
Supervisory experience/has served as a lead required
