Accounting Manager
Location: Atlanta GA (Local candidates only)

Role Summary
The Accounting Manager will serve as a technical accounting lead and key resource within the accounting function, supporting the integrity and efficiency of financial operations. This role plays a critical part in strengthening processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and driving improvements across accounting workflows.

This individual will oversee core accounting functions including general ledger activity, reconciliations, reporting, and close processes while acting as a subject matter expert for complex accounting issues. The role works cross functionally with finance, operations, and revenue teams to ensure accurate financial outcomes and continuous process optimization.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger activity, reconciliations, and month end close processes
• Review and ensure accuracy of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables
• Partner with cross functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes
• Monitor key financial metrics and reporting performance while preparing dashboards and leadership reports
• Provide oversight of accounts payable, cash forecasting, and treasury related activities
• Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Lead process improvement initiatives and rebuild accounting workflows for efficiency and scalability
• Serve as a technical resource for the team, resolving complex accounting questions and supporting best practices

Key Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience with full cycle close exposure
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls
• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and solve complex accounting issues
• Experience reviewing work and providing guidance to accounting staff
• Exposure to multi location or multi entity environments preferred
• CPA or CPA track preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment
