We offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefit package including health, vision, dental and life insurance, 401K retirement program, paid vacation and holidays, sick pay, and employee continuing education support.Globaltech, Inc. is seeking a motivated Accounting Manager to join our team of multidiscipline design-build professionals to round out our service capabilities in the municipal water and wastewater facilities market.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepares and oversees strategic financial planning and analysisPrepare company-wide annual budget plans and monthly/quarterly forecastsPrepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports (income, balance sheet, cash flow, revenue projections) in accordance with GAAPPrepare and maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, including over/under billings analysis and project margin trackingIdentify and implement processes improvement initiatives for accounting/finance departmentTreasury oversight; recommend utilization of money, consider risk and liquidity, and best mix of debt, equity and internal financing.Monthly reconciliation of company accountsWork with external CPA and provide year-end checklist items for annual auditManage quarterly dividend disbursements and tax distributionsPrepare Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) reconciliationsPrepare and file monthly/quarterly/yearly tax formsMonitor Accounts Receivable collections to improve financial health and cash flowManage equipment/vehicle purchase, finance and leasingManage liquidity and cash flowDevelop and maintain internal controls to ensure complianceManage all accounting functions included but not limited to General Ledger, AP, ARInterface with Surety underwriter to provide financial reporting and compliance and for issuance of construction bondingPrepare and provide accounting reports to risk management (General and Professional Liability, Builder's Risk, Auto)Own and enforce the month-end close calendar to ensure timely financial reporting.Track, analyze, and report key financial metrics and KPIs to executives on a monthly basis.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting Required, MBA Preferred4+ years' experience in construction accounting requiredExperience with long-term contracts a mustAdvance Microsoft Excel skills3+ years supervisory experience required.Strong understanding of GAAP, Job Costing, WIP and Cash Management.Experience with CMiC a plusExcellent communication skills, both orally and written Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate responsibilities in an effective and efficient mannerOutstanding integrity, solid moral judgment, and the ability to make important decisions under pressureExpert problem solver, analytical thinker, and decision-makerPossess strong leadership skills and business acumenMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.NO RECRUITERS#J-18808-Ljbffr
