Position Accounting ManagerLocation Cincinnati, OHDepartment FinanceReports To Director of FinanceFLSA Status Salaried, ExemptJob Overview Responsible for managing accounting functions, analyzing financial performance, and supervising AP and AR.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Analyze monthly P&L figures and prepare performance trend comments.Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close activities.Provide backup support to accounting staff to maintain continuity.Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.Assist in the development and implementation of financial management, budgeting, and payroll system goals and priorities.Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable personnel.Review bank and balance sheet reconciliations and maintain general ledger.Verify accuracy of general ledger coding and prepare financial statements and reports.Coordinate preparation of external audit materials and work with auditors to verify financial information and procedures.Establish system controls for new financial systems and develop procedures to improve existing systems.Conduct supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions.Qualifications B.S. in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.3 to 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or financial management at a supervisory level or as department head.Extensive knowledge of general and cost accounting.Excellent math skills and aptitude for figures.Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Effective supervisory skills.Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing.Knowledge of Sage, D365, ADP, and/or Momentus a plus.Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience plus a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) plan.Working Conditions Location: On Site at First Financial Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.Physical Demands: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Equal Opportunity Legends Global is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer, encouraging women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans to apply.
