Accounting Manager, (Construction) 150K-160K

LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager on behalf of a rapidly expanding global organization operating across multiple project-driven business lines. Our client delivers specialized services in areas such as design, construction, and engineered manufacturing solutions for complex, mission-critical infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who brings strong business acumen, construction industry expertise, and a proven track record managing financial operations in a multi-entity environment.This position pays 150K-160K+Bonus and is an opportunity to work for a growing and progressivce company. This is a Hybrid role and in office ONLY 3 days per week.Job ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise accounting and financial reporting activities, including daily accounting operations, weekly payment cycles, month-end, and year-end closeOversee accounting and administrative processes for designated business unitsPrepare and analyze financial reports that summarize and forecast business performance, including project progress updates, overhead reports, cash flow forecasts, balance sheets, and income statementsPerform variance analysis between projected and actual project results on a monthly basisReview and validate project accounting reports, ensuring accurate cost tracking, revenue recognition, and expense classificationsParticipate in budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with operations leadershipSupport project teams with estimates, owner billings, and project-level cost report setup and maintenanceReview weekly A/P payment files, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies related to charges, projects, or potential duplicationsOversee preparation of rolling 13-week cash forecasts for assigned entities and assist with other forecasts as neededPartner with other accounting leaders to ensure consistency in A/P processes and coordination with project accountingBuild strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersEnsure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsLead, mentor, and develop members of the finance and accounting teamCommunicate effectively across all levels of the organizationJob RequirementsMinimum of five years of financial management experience in a related industry, with at least five years at an Accounting Manager level or higher in a similarly scaled enterpriseBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred but not requiredConstruction industry experienceExperience in public accounting and/or CPA certification preferredGovernment contracting or manufacturing experience a plusInternational and multi-currency experience beneficialMajor ERP experience required Netsuite is a plus)Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detailAbility to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a big-picture perspectiveStrong written and verbal communication skillsIf you are interested in this job or other Accounting and Finance career opportunities from LHH Recruitment Solutions please email Rami Muhanna at rami.muhanna@lhh.com or visit our website at www.lhh.com#J-18808-Ljbffr
