Accounting Manager

Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is looking for an Accounting Manager to help lead its accounting team and oversee financial reporting across the business. This is a hands-on role with ownership of the month-end close, general ledger, financial reporting, and day-to-day support of the accounting team.

Responsibilities

\n

• \n
• Lead the monthly close process
• \n
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and other close activity
• \n
• Oversee general ledger accuracy and financial reporting
• \n
• Review monthly financial statements and reporting packages
• \n
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
• \n
• Oversee accounting activity across assigned business entities
• \n
• Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations
• \n
• Review financial results and variance analysis
• \n
• Partner with operational leaders on financial performance
• \n
• Lead, support, and develop accounting staff
• \n
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax requests
• \n
• Maintain strong accounting controls and procedures
• \n
• Improve accounting processes and reporting as the business grows

Qualifications

\n

• \n
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• \n
• Progressive accounting experience
• \n
• Strong month-end close and general ledger experience
• \n
• Experience reviewing or leading the work of other accountants
• \n
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• \n
• Financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliation experience
• \n
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• \n
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• \n
