    Amazon"s Accounting team is looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and is motivated by solving complex problems.     The Corporate Accounting Manager supports Amazon"s global accounting operations through financial reporting, technical accounting research, and cross-functional collaboration. This role focuses on supporting system implementation projects related to corporate reporting functions and foreign exchange accounting, while also supporting process improvement and operational close processes. The ideal candidate brings deep understanding of internal controls, with the ability to assess control design, evaluate completeness and accuracy of system outputs, and apply structured testing methodologies to ensure reliable and compliant results throughout the implementation lifecycle. This role requires the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment while partnering effectively across teams.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Support system implementation projects, including defining accounting requirements and validating outputs
    • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
    • Conduct financial reporting research and prepare technical position papers
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including finance, legal, tax, and statutory accounting teams
    • Perform risk assessments and evaluate control considerations within a complex, high-growth environment
