This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our growth and innovation and work with some of the leading professionals in the field.The Project Accountant role offers an opportunity to contribute to our growth and innovation and work with some of the leading professionals in the field.Position SummaryThe Accounting Manager will serve as a key member of BNP's global finance function, responsible for managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, running the execution of the monthly close process, and overseeing the accounting team across multiple entities and geographies.This role reports to the Controller and partners closely to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable accounting processes aligned with BNP's continued growth.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & CloseManage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timelines and deliverables are metReview journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesPartner with the Controller on consolidations and reporting packagesIdentify and implement improvements to close efficiency and timelinesMaintain accurate books and records for all domestic and international entities, ensuring financial transactions are properly recorded and supported.Accounting OperationsOversee general ledger, AR, AP, payroll accounting, and project accounting coordinationEnsure accuracy and consistency of financial data, including cost tracking and revenue inputsMaintain and optimize accounting workflows within Deltek VantagepointStandardize accounting practices across domestic and international entitiesInternal Controls & ComplianceExecute and maintain internal controls and accounting processesEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policiesSupport audit preparation and coordinate with auditors as directed by the ControllerAssist with tax‑related requirements in coordination with external advisorsPartner with acquired entities and external advisors to ensure revenue, expenses, and balance sheet schedules are maintained in accordance with U.S. GAAPSupport the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of internal controls and accounting processes to enhance audit readiness and reporting accuracyRevenue Recognition & Project AccountingEnsure consistent application of WIP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and project financial reportingServe as an escalation point for project accounting mattersPartner with project teams to support alignment between financials and project performanceMaintain percentage‑of‑completion (POC) schedules and support the accurate application of ASC 606 revenue recognition requirementsPartner with the Controller and CFO to investigate revenue recognition variances, project financial performance, and related accounting mattersTrack and maintain project retainage balances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and external accounting guidanceProcess Improvement & ScalingIdentify and implement improvements to accounting processes and workflowsDrive standardization across entities to support scalabilitySupport integration of newly acquired entities, including systems, reporting, accounting processes, data validation, and reporting alignment?
