Position Summary
As a member of the Finance team, the Accounting Manager facilitates accurate recordkeeping, timely transaction processing, and the preparation of financial reports, while supporting Business Unit operations and maintaining strong internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for completing the rolling forecast in coordination with the Business Unit Manager
- Support for updating information by location/value steam for weekly performance compared to forecast.
- Active participation in the annual plan activities and financial statements consolidation for the business unit
- Active participation and coordination of the physical inventory by location
- Active participation and coordination of the fixed assets physical inventory by location
- Responsible of the month end process and analysis for inventory valuation, stock transactions, sales adjustments, cost of sales, goods in transit, and others journal vouchers.
- Monitor month end expenses by location for accrual certification
- Consolidation of financial statements and reports for the Business Unit
- Analysis of the manufacturing/ production variances
- Responsible for updating the standard costs for the business unit
- Responsible for maintaining internal controls in the Business Unit
- Provide daily/weekly reports for financial analysis related to inventory
- Quarterly internal control certification
- Participation in SOX peer to peer audits
- Preparation of journal vouchers
- Monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Participation in the Kaizen events for the Business Unit
- Participation in High Performance Teams
- Participation in Management team meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory/people leadership experience
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP/IFRS and internal control principles (e.g., SOX, where applicable)
Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong Excel skills
Ability to develop and document processes, improve controls, and drive continuous improvement
Strong communication and collaboration skills to support cross functional/business unit needs
High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Competitive Compensation
- Pay Range: $73050 to $121500 annually
- Participation in Annual Incentive Program
