    Description

    Job Title: Accounting Manager 

    Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in our finance department, managing a variety of accounting functions and contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in accounting and financial reporting.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting principles (US GAAP or relevant standards).
    2. General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    3. Budget Analysis: Assist in the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor and report on budget variances.
    4. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
    5. Month-End and Year-End Close: Oversee and participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
    6. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, resolving discrepancies as needed.
    7. Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
    8. Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
    9. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency. Implement best practices and internal controls.
    10. Team Collaboration: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial-related queries.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
    • Minimum of 6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
    • Proficiency in major ERP's and advanced Excel skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
