Accounting Manager

Position Summary
We are seeking an Accounting Manager who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems, improving processes, and taking ownership.
This role is responsible for the company's day-to-day accounting operations while also serving as an important internal resource for vendor relationships, technology coordination, and outsourced service providers.
The Accounting Manager will lead a small, hands-on team and remain directly involved in the daily work. This is a true working manager role that combines accounting leadership, process improvement, financial reporting, vendor management, and operational support.
As a growing organization, we are continually improving how we work. The right person will be comfortable operating in a hands-on environment, identifying better ways to accomplish tasks, and helping build stronger processes and controls as the company grows.
What You'll Do
Accounting & Finance
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with planning for future financial needs.
- Manage vendor payments and ensure appropriate financial controls are followed.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Provide timely financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions.
- Work with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, banking partners, and other financial resources.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate accounting processes.
- Assist leadership with financial analysis and special projects as needed.
