Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

• 
  
• Lead the monthly close process, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• 
  
• Manage the bank-wide balance sheet reconciliation process and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
• 
  
• Oversee the preparation of internal financial statements, management reporting, and board reporting materials.
• 
  
• Partner with leadership on regulatory reporting, audit support, and compliance initiatives.
• 
  
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvement efforts.
• 
  

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• 
  
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including banking or financial services experience.
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger management, and internal controls.
• 
  
• Experience with Call Report preparation, FDICIA requirements, or financial institution regulatory reporting preferred.
