LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with a growing small business-focused accounting firm on the northside of Indianapolis looking for an Accounting/Tax Manager. This role will report to a Director, will support a defined book of clients, and be over as well as a part of a high performing collaborative team of accounting professionals. This position is open due to continued growth and offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure across both accounting and tax in a more balanced public accounting environment.
Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of small business clients
- Review tax returns and financial reporting deliverables
- Mentor and support accounting staff
- Serve as the primary client contact for accounting and tax matters
- Monitor deadlines and client workflow
- Lead onboarding of new clients
- Provide guidance on bookkeeping and accounting issues
- Support process improvements and team initiatives
Qualifications:- CPA or EA certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Public accounting, tax, or small business accounting experience required
- Supervision experience required
- QuickBooks Online experience preferred
