Accounting Manager Intercompany & Transfer Pricing
Location: 100% Remote
Pay Rate: $70 $75/hour (W2)
Contract Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support intercompany accounting, transfer pricing operations, SAP processes, and financial reporting for a global biotechnology organization. This individual will manage day-to-day accounting activities, support month-end close, resolve reconciliation issues, and assist with process improvements and business integrations.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on intercompany accounting experience, SAP proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany accounting activities, including billing, journal entries, reconciliations, settlements, and balance clearing.

• Support monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Investigate and resolve intercompany discrepancies and outstanding balances.

• Execute transfer pricing activities, including cost allocations, service charges, royalties, and periodic adjustments.

• Support SAP processes, system testing, troubleshooting, and reconciliation activities.

• Assist with integrating newly acquired businesses into existing accounting and financial processes.

• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve internal controls, and reduce manual processes.

• Maintain accounting documentation, standard operating procedures, and reconciliation records.

• Collaborate with global Accounting, Finance, Tax, Treasury, and IT teams to resolve operational issues.

• Support intercompany eliminations and consolidation reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 5 8 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.

• Experience working with SAP or similar enterprise accounting systems.

• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience supporting accounting process improvements, system implementations, or integrations.

• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA experience strongly preferred.

• Experience with transfer pricing accounting, including allocations, royalties, and intercompany charges.

• Familiarity with SAP PaPM (Profitability and Performance Management).

• CPA certification.

• Experience supporting global or multinational accounting operations.

• Background in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or a similarly complex corporate environment.

A hands-on accounting professional with strong intercompany experience who can quickly take ownership of recurring accounting activities, troubleshoot SAP-related issues, and improve existing processes. This position is well suited for someone comfortable working across global finance teams and supporting both operational accounting and system improvements.
