The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, and able to communicate financial information clearly to leadership and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records for multiple entities, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting schedules for assigned balance sheet accounts.Reconcile complex bank statements, credit card accounts, balance sheets, and other financial records.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and variance reporting.Work with outside accounting firms to prepare and file tax documents while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule, including reviewing timesheets, deductions, payroll taxes, and related payroll records.Monitor expenses, identify discrepancies, and recommend process improvements.Oversee invoice approval workflows, ensure accurate invoice coding in accordance with company policies, and assist with check printing and mailing processes as needed.Maintain confidentiality of financial information and uphold strong internal controls.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.Minium of three years of accounting experience required.Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting practices.Experience with accounting software such as RealPage, Yardi, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.Stable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to long-term roles and professional growth.Required SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Clear written and verbal communication skills.High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Employment DetailsEmployment Type: Full-time (30-40 hours per week)Schedule: 8 am – 6 pm, Monday-FridayCompensation: Salary commensurate with experience and skill level#J-18808-Ljbffr
