We are partnering with a growing and well-established organization in the Marietta area to identify an experienced Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to take ownership of the month-end close process, lead a small accounting team, and play a key role in driving process improvements within a technology-focused finance organization.

Responsibilities

\n

• \n
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• \n
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing leadership, coaching, and professional development.
• \n
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• \n
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• \n
• Own day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management.
• \n
• Utilize NetSuite to manage financial reporting, improve workflows, and enhance system efficiencies.
• \n
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• \n
• Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary contact for auditors.
• \n
• Develop and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and increase operational efficiency.
• \n
• Partner with cross-functional departments to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.
• \n
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

\n

• \n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• \n
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• \n
• Hands-on NetSuite ERP experience is required.
• \n
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• \n
• Experience managing the month-end close process.
• \n
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• \n
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• \n
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• \n
• CPA designation is a plus but not required.
• \n
