    Description

    Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, and cash management.Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), company policies, and applicable regulations.Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.Review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Coordinate and support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.Oversee sales and use tax, property tax, and other regulatory filings as applicable.Partner with Finance, Payroll, Human Resources, and Operations to support business initiatives and improve financial processes.Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiencies within the accounting function.Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and reporting deadlines.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingExperience managing the month-end close processProficiency with ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks Enterprise, or Workday FinancialsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling#J-18808-Ljbffr
