We're looking for an Accounting Manager to take ownership of our core accounting function during a high-growth phase. This role will lead general ledger accounting and reporting across multiple entities, as well as oversee franchisee-related financial activity for one of the franchisor brands we support.This is a hands‑on role in a startup environment, someone who is comfortable building structure where it doesn't yet exist and improving processes as we go. You'll be a key partner in shaping how accounting supports both our franchisor business and our franchise network.What You'll Own in This RoleGeneral Ledger & Accounting Close ProcessLead the monthly close process end-to-end (journal entries, reconciliations, review)Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger across entitiesEstablish and refine close timelines, checklists, and standards as we scaleManage accounting across multiple legal entities and related intercompany activitiesCreate and document workflows and processes as necessary, implementing automation and systems for scale.Prepare monthly financials for the franchisor entity, and other related entitiesMaintain audit‑ready financials and supporting documentationSupport external accountants, tax preparers, and future audit processesEnsure adherence to GAAP as appropriateFranchise Accounting & Cash Flow ManagementOwn accounting for franchisee‑related transactions, including receipts, pass‑through funds, and liabilitiesMaintain clear visibility into what is due to/due from franchisees by locationOversee the process for franchisee statements and payoutsPartner cross‑functionally to ensure alignment between sales, operations and accounting***This job description does not contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the position.
