Key Responsibilities for the Manager, Accounting:

Lead month-end close activities, including inventory reserves, accruals, and reporting
Oversee inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis
Partner with manufacturing plants to resolve costing, inventory, and margin issues
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting accuracy
Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals

Qualifications for the Manager, Accounting:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 2+ in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, GL, and costing processes
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, or OneStream preferred)
