Accounting Manager

Overview:

Location: Hybrid, Mount Lebanon, PA
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager. Ideal candidates must have a degree in accounting, several years of accounting experience showing progressive responsibility, and experience overseeing a team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees and provides guidance to senior and staff accountants related to accounting processes and procedures

• Prepares monthly journal entries and financial statements for the company and its affiliates

• Prepares appropriate tax returns and various other analyses and reports as required

• Supports external auditors and managers with audits

• Applies Lean principles to continually identify areas of efficiency related to departmental processes

• Supports continued automation of processes
• Responsible for the oversight and professional development of 5+ subordinates

Qualifications:

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA preferred

Experience Required

• 6+ years of progressively more responsible accounting duties 
• 2+ years supervisory experience
• Strong experience working with accounting software packages and Excel
• Knowledge and experience in preparing complex accounting reports and problem resolution
• Strong interpersonal skills
