Accounting Manager

DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an Accounting SME on project team developing accounting and reconciliation solutions for new system
• Partner and build reconciliation solutions
• Partner and build solutions for Regulatory, SEC, and other Reporting needs
• Lead testing of accounting functionality
• Serve as project manager/delivery lead, maintaining Jira Board for the team
• Work across functional areas to implement solutions that exceed the expectations of all stakeholders
• Question current and proposed processes and assess them for risks

• Bachelor's degree or military experience
• 3 Years of experience in Accounting, Audit or Finance

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5 years of experience in Accounting
• CPA
• Jira (Project Management) Software experience
• Project Management experience
• Demonstrated ability to maintain effectiveness in constantly changing environment
• Ability to apply integrative thinking in complex situations, identify issues and propose solutions
• Proficiency in spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets), exceptional written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to manage task completion/deliverables within appropriate timeframes.
