Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Serve as the company's Accounting Manager, overseeing all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, and month-end close.
• 
  
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and key performance metrics expected of a successful Accounting Manager.
• 
  
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis initiatives as the organization's Accounting Manager.
• 
  
• Partner with leadership to support strategic planning and operational decision-making in the Accounting Manager capacity.

• Maintain financial controls, accounting accuracy, and regulatory compliance while serving as the sole Accounting Manager for the business.

Qualifications

• 
  
• 8+ years of accounting and finance experience with the ability to perform successfully in an Accounting Manager role.
• 
  
• Previous experience as an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller, or similar professional ready to step into an Accounting Manager opportunity.
• 
  
• Proven ability to manage both transactional accounting and higher-level finance responsibilities required of a hands-on Accounting Manager.
• 
  
• Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management commonly expected in an Accounting Manager position.
• 
  
• Comfortable operating as a one-person accounting department and taking ownership of responsibilities typically handled by an Accounting Manager in a small business environment.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fully onsite setting.
