    Description

    Mason & Blair, LLC. A premier Accounting and Finance search firm in the Bay area, has teamed with a great client of ours on a search for an Accounting Manager role. This role is hybrid in San Francisco City.Accounting Manager Own and run the full close cycle across the general ledge r—including journal entries, consolidations, intercompany, reconciliations, and flux analysis—while continuously improving the speed, accuracy, and predictability of monthly, quarterly, and annual reportingStrengthen and scale accounting policies, processes, and internal controls to support a public company environment, ensuring compliance while building a foundation that can keep up with company growthPartner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and AP to drive a seamless close process, proactively resolve issues, and ensure financial data aligns with broader business objectivesLead audit readiness and execution end-to-end, managing external auditors, owning the PBC process, and ensuring deliverables are organized, timely, and audit-ready (not the night-before scramble kind)Identify and implement opportunities to automate and accelerate accounting workflows—including embedding AI into routine processes—to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and increase overall data reliabilitySeeking: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a mix of public accounting and industry experience (ideally in SaaS or tec h)You have a strong foundation in US GAAP and can apply it practically in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA is a plus)Experience owning close processes and working with ERP systems (NetSuite preferre d)Working in a SOX-compliant environment and understand the importance of strong internal controls#J-18808-Ljbffr
