Accounting ManagerThe Accounting Manager oversees all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and sound financial management to advance organizational goals. This role leads the accounting team, manages day-to-day accounting functions, supports budgeting and forecasting, and maintains robust internal controls.Base Pay Range$90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yrResponsibilitiesSupervise, coach, and develop accounting staff, including Senior and Staff Accountants and Accounting Clerks.Direct daily accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, and fixed assets management.Prepare and review accurate, timely financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.Respond to financial inquiries from leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders.Lead the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management.Conduct variance analyses and provide actionable financial insights to inform business strategy.Support liquidity management, financial modeling, and asset valuation efforts.Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.Evaluate and implement new accounting standards or regulatory changes as needed.Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting timeliness.Serve as the accounting system subject matter expert, partnering with IT to manage implementations, upgrades, and user training.Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects, committees, and strategic initiatives.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's degree or CPA preferred.5+ years of progressive accounting experience outside of public accounting.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.Strong financial analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Seniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionAccounting/AuditingIndustriesManufacturing and Consumer ServicesBenefitsMedical insuranceVision insurance401(k)#J-18808-Ljbffr
