As the Accounting Manager you will oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Develop and monitor COGS, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with policies. A successful Accounting Manager should have: a strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or construction. Strong understanding of project based accounting, inventory, and COGS. Proficiency in larger complex accounting software systems such as MS Dynamics, Oracle, or SAP plus advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Preference for someone who has been involved in and ERP system implementation. Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
