This Client is the world's largest offshore drilling company.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a credit union or financial institution1+ years of supervisory experience managing teamsStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial institution accounting, and internal controlsFamiliarity with credit union regulations and Call Report preparation preferredAdvanced Excel skills and experience with accounting or core processing systemsStrong analytical, organizational, and leadership skillsPosition SummaryThe Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the accounting operations for the credit union. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and efficient accounting processes. The Accounting Manager provides leadership to the accounting team while supporting the credit union's financial strength, operational efficiency, and member service goals.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise accounting staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and workflow oversightOversee daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger activities, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close processesPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and credit union regulatory requirementsEnsure accuracy of Call Report and other regulatory filings required by the NCUA and the Texas Credit Union DepartmentDevelop, implement, and monitor internal accounting controls and proceduresAssist with internal audits, external audits, and regulatory examinationsPrepare reports for senior management as neededIdentify opportunities to improve accounting systems, automation, and processesHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong leadership and team management abilitiesIntegrity and confidentiality with financial dataProblem‑solving and process improvement mindsetClear communication with executives, regulators, auditors and staffTekWissen Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
