Compensation: Up to $135k DOE
We are partnering with a well-established organization to identify an Accounting Manager to join its growing finance leadership team. This opportunity has become available following an internal organizational restructure and offers the chance to lead a high-performing accounting team while partnering closely with executive leadership.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will oversee the day-to-day accounting function, lead the month-end close process, manage a team of accounting professionals, and drive process improvements across the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting leader who combines strong technical accounting skills with an analytical mindset and a collaborative leadership style.
Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
Manage job cost accounting, work-in-process reporting, and cost allocations
Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
Support annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance activities
Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes
Partner cross-functionally with operations, inventory, customer service, IT, and finance leadership
Support financial system reporting and data integrity
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
Strong month-end close leadership and accounting judgment
Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities
Collaborative leadership style with a servant-leader mentality
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Prior experience managing or leading accounting staff
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
Experience with job costing or operational accounting environments
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and large data analysis
ERP experience required; experience with Epicor, Hyperion, OneStream, or Adaptive Insights is a plus
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on leader who enjoys coaching and developing others
Strong accounting instincts and sound business judgment
Naturally curious and comfortable asking thoughtful questions
Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
Calm under pressure with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
