    Baker Design Group is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accounting Operations Manager to support the day-to-day financial and operational needs of our growing business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on small business environment and is comfortable managing a variety of accounting and operational responsibilities.Why Join Baker Design Group?Collaborative, team-oriented environmentVariety and ownership in day-to-day workStable, long-term role with growth potentialCreative and collaborative company cultureValues-driven leadership and relationship-focused cultureWhat You'll DoManage day-to-day accounting operations within QuickBooks Online (QBO)Oversee invoicing, collections, accounts payable, and bank reconciliationsSupport payroll, benefits administration, and monthly sales tax filingsPrepare recurring financial, operational, and customer balance reportsHelp provide visibility into financial status, operational priorities, and follow-up itemsCoordinate with ownership, project teams, vendors, and external advisorsSupport organized financial processes, reporting, and ongoing operational organization and process improvementSystems & SoftwareQuickBooks Online (QBO), Gusto Payroll, Microsoft Office/Excel, Google Workspace, Asana, Dropbox, and online banking/payment platforms.What We're Looking For5+ years preferred of recent experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operationsExperience with accounts receivable/payable and payroll administrationStrong numerical aptitude and a natural ability to spot discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential issues before they ariseAbility to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, project-based environmentOrganized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing prioritiesA business-minded perspective — someone who understands the numbers behind the operation and can connect financial data to broader business decisionsStrong communication and follow-up skillsExperience working in a small business environment preferredExperience in design, construction, retail, or project-based businesses is a plusBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off401(k)#J-18808-Ljbffr
